So true, when I started my company(s). I had dozens of peers/friends in positions in healthcare. All very unsupportive, I made a top pay rate then. Some even a little upset with me that I would walk away from a job I was so well paid for and so successful in. I have 6 kids and wanted more for my family and I believed in myself. These peers were all in the position to send business my way. To this day I get almost no business from those so-called friends. To be self employed is to always have another challenge, that's business. I fired an administrator a few months back for embezzlement... Big hit for me and the company. Waiting for Metro to put her in jail, still getting a final tally on what she stole. 16 years in business, challenges come on a conveyer belt. but good companies even good relationships are not defined by how great they are when all is great. It's all about how they overcome challenges. Even relationship, you may find this great individual... You never know how good until you have a fight. How people handle not getting their way, or things not going their was is the best indicator in life. Always have to be prepared to reinvent yourself. I see USGL rising up to meet those challenges. It is. Formula for success.
