Whoa, a lot of information to come home to this evening! Wasn't quite expecting today. Want to make sure I am understanding all I have read and try to breakdown each piece from my point of view...
1) Easy one here. New CFO, good news
2) New CFO not a experienced big fortune 500 type, but has had previous experience in growing several private, micro-cap and small-cap companies, including one of the largest cannabis cultivator and retailers (For some reason not mentioned yet), overall IMO good news. Moving WW further from involvement even though he will report directly to WW.
3) Carnell who F*cked up gets to stay on in at least a temporary fashion for transition period, if indeed just as a consultant, can be good news if initial f up was just that and it facilitates him being removed sooner rather that later following transition.
4) The incident with Carnell was brought to our attention by WW in past report. Full transparency as last Q would have been much better looking if the costly incident didn't happen.
5) Personal opinions from these points... Personally, I read through most posts twice to try and gather all information provided and utilized past knowledge on these subject and came to my conclusion.
We are indeed moving forward with typical startup issues, and then some for sure... I do get frustrated by management and some choices of management! As much as I am an old fashioned type manager and would have released Carnell myself for past f*ck up, these are not those days anymore with companies. For example, I had to personally devote over 6 months and a folder over 3" thick of evidence to get a F'in POS fired from my company and I was his boss and this was 2 years ago now. Remember, at the same time, there are no kids left behind at school and everyone gets a trophy these days and let's just hope its that.! and they are on good terms trying to end amicably.
We know the roller coaster were on at this point and what to expect from time to time. That's why we are here as a group to be able to vent, support, and at the same time celebrate when they make good moves and decisions.
