KEMP, Texas, April 15, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Industrial lighting leader, Larson Electronics LLC, announced the release of a dimmable 56 watt vapor-proof LED alternative to dimmable fluorescent fixtures,. This 0-10V dimmable outdoor fixture provides much longer lamp life and higher performance than traditional fixtures and is an ideal light for off-shore applications, marine use, shopping malls, parking structures and any other outdoor locations where vapor proof lighting is required or desired.
The vapor proof GVP-48-2L-LED-D-V2 is a dimmable LED fixture ideal for operators looking for top quality vapor proof lighting. Those who wish to reduce the maintenance costs and improve lighting quality will find this unit is an ideal replacement for common fluorescent fixtures. This unit is equipped with two, 4 foot-long, 28W LED T8-Series bulbs, producing a total of 7,000 lumens at just 56 watts. T8 bulbs are special solid state LED tubes that produce the same illumination as standard fluorescent bulbs, with higher efficiency and lower draw. Addiitionally, this unit does not have a ballast, which reduces overall weight and slims down the profile.
The vapor proof outdoor LED operates on universal 120-277VAC at 50/60 Hz without modifications, and is also available in a low-voltage model that runs on 11-25V AC/DC. The GVP-48-2L-LED-D-V2’s dimmable capabilities allow operators to manually adjust the brightness of the lamp and works with the use of a DC control signal that ranges from 0-10 volts of input. The smooth, continuous and flicker-free dimming of a 0-10V dimmable LED light is ideal for a wide range of different lighting applications.
