Chess, I thought about your ...imagination often precedes reality...,
to try to come up with a reality that has not been imagined.
I have heard we have 50,000 to 70,000 thoughts per day
(talk about short attention spans!) so it is difficult to think of
something we may not have thought, especially if you add the
bombardment of media into our thoughts every day.
I thought of a supernova bursting in the night sky suddenly and
even that has been thought of by people before the fact, they
just could not predict the date and time, just as we may have
thought of our own mortality without knowing the date and time.
I have not spent a lot of time on the question, not as much time
even as an OEM spends testing quantum dots in their displays,
but the only instance I can think of where reality may have preceded
imagination is the Big Bang, and that is only if that act was not the
thought of God, saying let there be light.
