You should look at the cash on hand for each case. For example, AXON failed its Alzheimer’s trial and has nothing left in the pipeline (you probably know this). But they have a $123M market cap mainly because they have $75M in cash and is trading on Nasdaq.
I’m not saying I rather be in AXON’s situation, but I just want to point out that’s how the market values companies sometimes. The market is often wrong because they don’t predict the future.
