Whether it's our psoriasis cream, or sublingual tablets, or any of the other products, they are not going to cure whatever problem they're aimed at, but they will provide relief over essentially the entire life of the patient using them.
I'm on the generic form of Gleevec, no leukemia can be seen for myself, and most of the people like me who're using the drug. I know that in some places in the world they're testing protocols like 3 months on, one month off, and if that doesn't have a down side they'll try one on, one off. The point is, they really don't know how much they can trim without causing the reoccurrence of the disease. I've actually been off the drug for several days during hospital stays where they didn't have it, and chose not to have my family bring it in, their has been no problem with that, which is also telling me that if I miss a few days it shouldn't be a problem.
I would suspect that much the same will happen with some of our drugs. Once things like psoriasis, PTSD, autism, etc are under control, individuals will determine how frequently they need to use the drugs to sustain the control. In most cases, I believe more drug will be needed to establish control than to sustain it, but if you completely abandon it the problems will reoccur.
