Why tell a person who just achieved something grea

Why tell a person who just achieved something great and is clearly happy, that his achievement is largely irrelevant in the real world? To what end? If it is true, which I very much doubt, then he'll find out on his own, in the meantime let him enjoy the fruits of his efforts as he sees fit.

There are people making tons of money who have basically no education, some athletes and entertainers come to mind. Does that really make education irrelevant?
