Respectfully, I think supply vs. demand should be considered before blaming it on naked shorting. As for supply, I've shown how much selling pressure was by Aspire here.

That was just one seller (the biggest one IMO). As for demand, I've seen many days where the ask of a few thousand shares at $0.50s sat there for hours. While I agree it didn't necessarily indicate lack of demand by longs, setting buy orders at lower prices doesn't help the stock to go up. It only invites MMs to lower the SP knowing they can fill many orders there.
Today is another example of an ask ($0.56) sitting there for hours. I'm sure there are many buy orders at 50 cents or lower. I understand it's human nature to buy something for as cheap as possible, but my point is when demand (buying at ask) is less than supply (selling at bid), the stock is likely to go down.
