Program to download an app on driver's phone "is set to launch in January while scope will be in use by next Spring... making a decision before the middle of the year"
So bottom line is they are at the point of making that decision .... there's a concerted effort by the BC government as they're cracking down on distracted drivers with $2k fines ... a police initiative ICBC is partnering with ... AG David Eby says ICBC has moved along with its pilot and identified the technology they want to work with ... a phone app
