Revealing the true identity of a random screen name on a random message board is not illegal at all, as long as the information was pulled from the public domain, which I am assuming it was. It's called doxing and it goes on everywhere. If the person hacked into Chris's account, then that's an issue, but not one that would have the FBI and 'local authorities' to drop everything and take action. Funny stuff.
