Don't you just love Trumponomics?
As long as he was doing nothing and we were still riding the Obamanomics wave, things were going good.
As soon as Trump decides to start moving away from Obamanomics, things tank.
Who could've predicted this? Besides everyone, I mean.
1. Yes, Trump was bragging when forward momentum of Obama
Policies were sending the stock market upward. Now, I will admit the market further surged forward in the expectation Trump would relax regulations and give tax cuts, but that’s already been
Priced in to stock values.
Now real-world actions by president are having deleterious effects. Tariffs, higher interest rates partly spurred by overheating economy with huge tax breaks, looming massive deficits....all are putting downward prices on equities.
3. Did we hit the tipping point?
Couple of things to watch,one was a story over the week end about a glut of high end Condo's setting in south Florida. Interesting. Second,famlies can not find affordable Housing in several major Cities. Rental Housing and Apartments have increased their rents by thirty percent and wages are flat or demising.
Have had two Retail Store Managers comment about daily Sales Numbers slipping. And these Stores are in Affluent areas of the Valley. Something has changed Household Dynamics. And it looks like people are becoming worried about tomorrow and the next day.
6. Here in Vegas things have gone nuts.
Most of the Locals are priced out of the Market. Folks who were burned out or flooded out in Cali are using their Insurance Settlements to purchase anything and everything available. Second are Chinese buyers,again it is all cash.
We are now seeing 2007 and 2008 overheated market,and to top it off,our affordable Housing has disappeared. When you can dump your house in 48 hours,that is truly on scary mess.
We have one mega bubble here.
