Obviously of # 1 importance is the funding and according to what I heard in the CC it closed yesterday march 29th. A partial release of the 21M will be ready to spend this coming week! The remaining portion of the 21M will be disbursed within 30-45 days.
First item on the agenda is paying off Longside and this should be completed this week. Per David LS will be paid in cash as they declined NTEK shares. The other 2 lawsuits are settled and the pay off amounts are very minor and funding is not needed for those settlements. There are no other known legal issues or lawsuits.
There will be a NTEK streaming service "dedicated to HDR only" to begin this summer. Not sure if this will be off UF or a entirely separate streaming channel. The 20 new titles loaded in April (non A -list) are not being paid for from the funding.
NTEK will have 40% ownership of another streaming media service (I cannot recall the exact details or type of service)
What I really liked to hear is NTEK and David are always open to merge with another company with deep pockets and under the right conditions that will benefit the company and shareholders alike. Also there have been no buy out offers received within the last 12 months but given the right price NTEK would not say no. IMO we are at least a year or two away from that possibility and by that time the PPS may be somewhere in dollar land.
Expect to hear about the fund closing and other important news like the legal issues coming to an end (finally) in the coming days. Last but not least, UF will be fully loaded with A- list content immediately following the final disbursements of the 21M.
Very pleased on what I heard today and looking forward to more great news next week as things proceed.
