I believe you're right and frankly, it may depend

I believe the potential problem with Emilia's products may be whether cannabis products sold in a given State or Country must either be produced in that Country or State, or must be made with cannabis components from that country or State. Could you imagine the problems that would be created if every product sold in a Country or State had to be produced there. Right now the cannabis market is bogged down in such regulations, but hopefully it will change as cannabis gains acceptance.
I believe if you look at places like CVS, Costco, etc. you'll find all sorts of vitamins, minerals, supplements, etc that have undergone little or no clinical testing, but they're made of components that have been proven safe, and they're manufactured with equipment that meets manufacturing standards. Frankly if our cannabis cream could be marketed in the same way, Emilia could probably supply it anywhere it was permitted, but I believe at least initially it will be far more difficult than that, at least in some Countries and States.
One question in my mind is, would Emilia care to establish a manufacturing capability in each Country or State that demands product be manufactured there, or must OWCP in developing partnerships find partners who'll take full responsibility for manufacturing, in addition to distribution and sales.
I'm uncertain of just what Michelpro or Mediq's plans were wrt manufacturing, but to my knowledge, those companies have rights to European nations, and I'm uncertain what that will require. If we were speaking about small quantities, the equal of a compounding pharmacy might be sufficient to meet the demand, and perhaps that could be a starting point somewhere. As sales grew, however, it would be insane not to have mass production capability.
What we're facing is no different from any other cannabis based company selling products that go beyond what's removed from the plant.
I would love to see a partnership for here in California where the partner intended to build manufacturing capability here. With the 6th largest economy in the world, such a facility could certainly be justified. I'm not certain the same thing can be said for the other State's, and many of the Countries have economies smaller than California as well. Life would be so much easier if Emilia could provide product anywhere, but I don't know that's the case. I do believe that most companies aren't advanced to the point of having someone like Emilia to make their products, so we're ahead in that way.
Because I have no idea how our products are made, I don't know how difficult it would be for Emilia to mass produce all but the cannabis component in a given product at one place. Without the cannabis component they should be able to ship it anywhere in the world. If that's easily done, then putting a final production facility in each State or Country that requires it might not be too difficult.
