CSE25 is a conglomerate of the 25 largest companies by market capitalization listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange. In February 2018, Pivot Pharmaceuticals entered into a letter of intent for the acquisition of Agro-Biotech Inc., a cannabis cultivator located in Quebec. Agro-Biotech received its producer’s license on January 12, 2018. On completion of the proposed acquisition, Pivot will be able to conduct research and development and store cannabis derivatives not currently covered under ACMPR regulations. The company will also be in a position to process natural health products and export cannabis oils and concentrates to international markets, once it receives an export permit.
