My opinion today, just from reading the last years PRs and Squires two shareholder letters, is that QMC has the best Cadmium-free red, green, and the ONLY blue quantum dots on the market. QMC also has the only automated process machines, and they can be bought at a relatively low CAPEX and time. Squires said QMC is in an "enviable" position.
QMC has operated without financial disclosure for the last year so we are in the dark as to their "coffers", income, expenses or funding. All we can say we know is that Squires has kept QMC going through all this time and is keeping his cards close to his vest. We investors think he has the winning hand. He has red, green, and blue, the King, Queen and Jack, automation is his Ace, and QMC's IP is the Ten. Looking at the other players cards, I don't see anything better than this Ace high straight.
What I read on this board and agree with, is that we have all been invested in this hand too long now to consider folding and walking away from the table. For all the above reasons, my money is on Squires.
