I don't begrudge anyone for having a large portfol

I don't begrudge anyone for having a large portfolio and healthy retirement nest egg.That's tough to accomplish these days,especially here in the North East.Maine is a beautiful state but very difficult to make a good paycheck in.Most of the good paying jobs come from out of state companies doing business in Maine.It's hard to get into them because many times they relocate their own employees to Maine instead of hiring locally.It's difficult to have a "career" here because many outfits come and go before a career can even be established and vested in.That has been the case with me.The bulk of Maine's economy is agriculture,hospitality and tourism & retail.All notoriously low paying occupations.
All that being said,I have seen many people get the shaft from their employers screwing them for their own gain and now in the investment arena I see the same greed and corruption that most 9-5 employees don't see as they just contribute to their 401K each week , oblivious to what the "real world" is doing with their money.
So I have a great deal of empathy for honest people trying to lift themselves up to a higher level in life and I also have a very low tolerance for liars,thieves and manipulators.
