You misrepresent the findings here. They are speaking of CBD compounds with THC in ratios depending upon the needs of the patient and the severity of the pain. CBD's do help those trying to stop the use of narcotic based drugs for example by easing the withdrawal symptoms and anxiety related to the reduced intake of narcotics. Indica at 24% causes a user to experience a "body stone" and the relieving of pain but some patients cannot tolerate higher THC levels - for example patients with heart issues or CVT have reported negative side effects and increased risk of heart issues when using higher levels of THC - whether that is Indica or Sativa based. Many patients use CBD combined with THC and the CBD acts as a blocker so the psychoactive ingredients do not have the same effect on users, but provides the benefits of the pain relieving property. If you are trying to imply that someone drinking a soft drink infused with CBD will derive the benefits of pain relief is simply not true. CBD levels found in oils are at higher concentrations and users use anywhere from 1.5ml to 5.0mls per day of the CBD oil with many choosing the lower dosing simply because of the cost - it is not cheap. Unless you are going to see concentrations of 20mg/ml or higher there will be little to no benefit to the use of it. My drops are 1.5 thc and 21.8 CBD in oil form. You will not see those dosages in beverages.
