Are Strong Addition to Trump's Legal Team

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee said Friday that bringing on law power couple Joseph diGenova and Victoria Toensing to President Trump's legal team is good news, because they are "real street fighters."
Huckabee said the couple is a strong addition to help advise the president on Special Counsel Robert Mueller's ongoing Russia probe.
"They're both stronger than garlic," Huckabee said on "America's Newsroom." "[Trump] needs brass knuckles here."
The president said to reporters Thursday - after signing an executive memorandum on tariffs - that he "would like to" testify before Mueller.

Trump's former lead defense attorney on the probe, John Dowd, resigned just hours before the president signed off on the tariffs. It's believed there were disputes among Trump's lawyers about whether Trump should talk to Mueller and the level of cooperation with the investigation.
"I'm sure [Trump] would like to [sit down with Mueller], but it's not a good legal strategy," Huckabee said. "Probably the thing that he should do is say, 'You give me written questions, I'll give you written answers.'"
"These are people who have their own agenda, and it ain't to help him," Huckabee added.
Huckabee said that he does believe there probably is turmoil in the White House "in a good kind of way," adding that people elected Trump to be disruptive.
