It's well above mine too.
In 1988*, I was fortunate enough to meet Charles Townes, the guy who discovered the laser. If I remember the story correctly, a mathematical equation popped into his noggin while he was taking a morning walk. He either wrote it down immediately, or maybe he rushed home to write it down, but at any rate, from that simple morning walk all sorts of scientific advances were "born".
