So the maximum speed that Lightwave’s material can operate is how fast it can flinch (and affect the wavelength in the laser) and return to normal. They had it tested one time at 1/1,000,000,000,000,000 of a second or a fempto second. The photons speeding along travel about the distance of a virus in that time frame.
