again imo the key is the bid support being visible
the reality is since mgmt's October surprise .. NR has had to *mark*
both bids and asks .. and have clearly wash traded and mirrored known investors'
time stamps .. some of which have also been *marked* .. NR is on the ropes
and literally can't get volume unless they *manufacture* it
cue the crew working the vehicle of choice ..
just me but i like to do the occasional odd sized ask hits to see how *handled*
so for example .. i won't hit the ask (with my bid still visible) for 1000 .. but might hit for 1011 .. in the days of *volume* running 120k to 160k .. it was done to see/track how handled .. these days .. even the FUDSTERS can see how handled ..
