Laura Ingraham said in her "Angle" commentary that if any civilian exhibited fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe's "outrageous lack of truthfulness," they'd "already be in jail."
Ingraham ripped Democrats who strongly criticized the White House over the termination.
Senate Minority Whip Richard Durbin of Illinois said President Donald Trump "put out a hit" on McCabe, while Rep. Mark Pocan of Wisconsin said it proves Trump "lacks human decency."
Ingraham criticized Durbin's and Pocan's silence on the other half of the story - that McCabe had previously stepped away from the bureau over allegations he leaked information about the Clinton email scandal to the press.
"Frankly, he should've been sacked a long time ago," she said.
Ingraham pointed out that Democrats excuse similar shortcoming of people they support while attacking opponents like Trump.
She said they made excuses for sanctuary city policies and rioting in Baltimore after the death of Freddie Gray.
Ingraham said former Obama adviser Susan Rice faced few repercussions for lying about the Benghazi attack being based on a controversial video.
"If any of us had done what McCabe did, we'd probably already be in jail," she said.
