Patrick Johnson – CEO & Director
Patrick Johnson majored in Journalism and Communications at the University of Oregon from 1994 to 1997, and attended the Craig James Broadcast School in 2000. Johnson has held C-Level positions in the oil and gas, construction, consumer products, and nutraceutical industries in both public and private sectors, as well as consulting in the private equity, mining, gaming, entertainment, Internet, and corporate finance industries. Patrick has assisted several charities and non-profit organizations with his volunteer and fund raising efforts.
During his NFL career, Patrick pledged money for the Baltimore Ravens/Police Athletic League Challenge of Champions, modeled in a Tommy Hilfiger Fashion Show to help raise money for the Living Classrooms Foundation of Baltimore, an educational program that targets at-risk youth, and also spearheaded the fifth annual “Baltimore Reads Books for Kids Day” at Baltimore Polytechnic High School in 2000, helping the group collect nearly 25,000 children’s books that were distributed to low-income families. Patrick was a two-sport athlete at the University of Oregon, excelling in both football and track, winning numerous awards and championships during his collegiate athletic career. As an Olympic caliber sprinter, Johnson won the Pac-10 Championships in the 400 meters, an NCAA All-American at 100 and 200 meters, and defeated the legendary Carl Lewis in a 100-meter race at the
Drake Relays in 1995. As all Pacific – 10 / All American wide receiver and kick returner at Oregon, he was Offensive MVP of the 1997 Las Vegas Bowl and was also a member of UO’s 1994 Rose and 1995 Cotton Bowl teams. Johnson was inducted into the University of Oregon Athletics Hall of Fame for both sports in 2014, and was the 42nd overall pick in the 1998 NFL draft. Johnson also earned a Super Bowl ring when the Baltimore Ravens defeated the New York Giants 34 -17 in Super Bowl XXXV.

Chris also offersunparalleled experience in 3rd party insurance settlement and dispute resolution, estimate and property appraisal, and expert opinion participation for claim resolution.
Chris’s attention to detail is demonstrated in operational processes, field protocol and procedures that achieve consistent results designed to exceed expectations in all relationships they serve, while striving to consistently raise the standard of service excellence in our industry.
Chris believes that some life’s most precious rewards comes in serving others. His commitment to service and fostering relationships for mutual betterment is reflected in his 25 years of proven results.
Chris has achieved and holds many industry designations, certifications and licenses. Chris has also served at the request of the Texas Department of Insurance and the Texas Department of health in panel discussion and formatting for state wide mold remediation guidelines and testing criteria for mold remediation contractor certification in the State of Texas.
Charles Everett- Chairman of The Board
Charly has been the architect of an industry leader in construction services, offering several distinctive divisions including Gregg Construction (1972), WaterMasters Restoration (1999), and Designer Lane (2011). Together, they offer specialists in mitigation and restoration, renovation, remodeling, new construction and construction materials supply. Charly brings a deep and broad understanding of operations and team building, having served for over 15 years in the roles of Store Operations, Training and Development and Human Resources for Racetrac Petroleum prior to joining forces with WaterMasters at its inception. Subsequently adding Gregg Construction in 2005 and creating Designer Lane in 2011, Cherubim Builders Group was formed in 2012 to offer industry expert capabilities in all construction and supply areas. Charly’s reputation for integrity and service is unparalleled in the industry.
John Grubbs – Vice President and General Manager
John Grubbs is the Vice President and General Manager of Cherubim Custom Millworks, Inc and its dba Interiors by Designer Lane, a combination custom millwork and dealership based modular cabinetry firm that has a broad reach through design / build / fabrication in commercial operations, new home builders, multi-family, residential retail and restoration. John believes that solid teamwork and company buy-in at all levels of employee is the foundation of both positive change and success. The detail oriented experiences garnered through 25-years of professional experience in supply chain, operational, distribution and logistics management, made him the perfect candidate to align systems and processes, goals, and financial services for both the custom millwork and the dealership base of the organization, creating a cohesive and dynamic whole positioned for future growth and profitability. John has implemented operations planning processes and developed supply chain operating models for private and third- party clients. He has also been instrumental in developing several start-up businesses and salvaging young companies to develop growth and profit for long-term health. John has a degree in Transportation from Shippensburg State University which is located in his home State of Pennsylvania.
Rashad Bauman- VP of Corporate Development
Bauman is a former American football player in the National Football League who played cornerback. He majored in Sociology the University of Oregon from 1997-2001 and was a third team All-American selection by the NFL Draft Report. He was selected All-Pac-10 second-team in 2001 and was selected in the 3rd round of the 2002 NFL Draft. Rashad played two seasons with the Washington Redskins before being traded to the Cincinnati Bengals in 2004 and recorded 50 tackles and 2 interceptions during his 43-game career. Rashad’s passions include mentoring kids through athletics and has been married to wife Nani for ten years and they have three sons and a daughter.
