Yes they did buy the letter, it's called a RETAINER. Attorneys use form letters all the time. The letter was probably written by a Para-legal who relied on spell check, as most people do, and since it is spelled correctly, just the incorrect word, it wasn't caught. No big deal.
And for Alan J. Bailey, he must be very good at what he does if so many companies use him. So what if he is part-time, this is a start up company and the position doesn't warrant a full time CFO. Again, no big deal.
