In economics a "Market Ready" product refers to a product that is ready for commercial exploitation. This could be achieved in a number of ways but as you say there has to be, at the very least, an infrastructure in place before one can begin to exploit it....another word for $. But hey, I'll be the first one to admit this is not what I initially understood it to mean.
