FL Student Rips David Hogg for Hanging Up on Trump

A student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla. criticized a classmate of his who has been making media rounds in the wake of the shooting.
Kyle Kashuv, a junior, said senior David Hogg is being "extremely counterproductive" by admitting that he recently hung up on the White House.
Hogg told HBO's Bill Maher that the day before the White House listening session that Trump or another official called him to invite him to the session to voice his concerns in front of the president.
"I'm not coming because we expect Donald Trump to come to the CNN town hall," Hogg said .
Trump needs to listen to the screams of the children and the screams of this nation," he said.
Kashuv said he was "trying to control his anger" at Hogg, who has made multiple other charged statements against people like Trump and Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R).
"The president calls [Hogg] and it shows he wants to make a change, and you're talking about bipartisan change and the one man who leads our nation comes to you and says ‘let’s do something, let’s make it happen.’ And you hang up on him?" Kashuv said.
"You hang up on him and brag about it on national television? It’s extremely counterproductive," Kashuv told Martha MacCallum.
Kashuv said he is seeing "positive" and constructive legislation being considered in the wake of the shooting.
He previously called criticisms of the NRA and calls for gun control "counterproductive" to being able to effect real change.
