John, while you are having loads of wind and rain

John, while you are having loads of wind and rain today in Vermont, western Kansas is having a Red Flag Warning for wind and fires. It is really dry, but nothing to burn but grass and winter wheat.. But, Hinkley Minnesota in 1894 killed 418 and demolished Hinkley and 5 surrounding communities. It was basically a brush fire since all the trees had been cut down by loggers, although debris left behind by the loggers helped duel the fires. But, still the western plains have major brush fires.
