The French Foreign Legion has a saying about what it takes to earn their kepi blanc cap "A thousand barrels of sweat". We longs have been sweating it out for quite some time.
Their final graduation exercise entails a long forced march with full field gear. At the end of it, recruits stagger back into their barracks to see their kepi blancs on their cots. We're almost there people! Only 75 more days at most. Caruso, give us a jody and let's sing to make this final march trek easier. Know our Captain, Mark Kay, is putting our kepi blancs on our cots as I speak. March on!
