Am I mistaken that the PUF/University Lands management wouldn't give a permanent easement? The whole point is to get recurring income streams from the lands granted to the university. They are not going to grant permanent rights on their lands are they? From what I have read form law firms that have this in their wheelhouse, even private owners are advised to not grant permanent easements to pipeline companies that want to use their land.
Even further, the entire Titan Lansing complex is sitting on university lands, and apparently that is not an issue. This seems like a completely BS bash designed to capitalize on ignorance. Thoughts?
