Market manipulation and survival of the fittest.

Relatively new to the “penny stocks” I have a growing interest in the manipulation of this market. After yesterday, as others were I was left wondering why.
I enjoy nature documentaries and I can’t help but to draw a correlation with the stock price and a documentary I recently watched. The dolphins in the Gulf Coast have a hunting strategy not seen anywhere else in the world. They swim circles around schools of fish, while doing so they swim at the bottom stirring up the silt and encircling them with muddied water. The fish are all freaking out of course, rather than swim blindly into the murky water they attempt to jump out, at which point the dolphins are lined up, mouths open ready to catch the scrambling fish.
These guys are manipulating the stock down. It is a small loss to them, if a loss at all. When the stock recovers and they have the average investor nervous from the downturn, they can then come in and catch a few million shares and still at a bargain price for only the cost of a few hundred thousand shares traded.
Don’t be a fish.
Am I wrong? It was a snazzy title anyway...
