The first Private Stock Market opens,
initially with state bonds
The Albanian Stock Exchange (ALSE) officially opened its trading activity on Thursday (Treasury Bonds and Treasury Bonds) on the official ALSE Stock Exchange market. Through a press release ALSE has informed interested entities to trade (purchase or sell) government securities before the maturity date that they can submit their claims and bids on the electronic trading platform only through Banks or Brokerage Firms that are affiliated to this official market.
The Financial Supervisory Authority licensed the Albanian Securities Exchange on July 3 last year, clarifying that it will initially trade in the first year of its activity only government titles, whereas at a second moment its activity can be expanded with instruments others.
