PresClb mentioned the fact of no new news for 5 months and the low volume, both of which are what I consider as the calm before the lunge.
The December announcement of impending expansion indicated a very positive reason for absolute quiet going forward. GC's are not trying to presell luxury condos, they are in fact, bucking the world of mobility and power. Any inclinations he gives of what is being planned and executed could effect costs of vendor parts all the way through to construction agreements.
The added floor space shown in my next post, is only an area comparison to the current building, is a huge investment that portends a rather involved supply chain, event scheduling, negotiations on myriad levels, binding legal agreements and a plethora of unforeseen events for which contingencies must be emplaced.
This is more akin to the planning of D-Day than opening a new business. PresClb is correct that 5 months is a long time. I feel he might well agree that in consideration of the work to be performed, announcements in a few days or weeks might just be a bit optimistic.
If I feel a some pain, I can not begin to imagine the pain the GC's are feeling.
