Dr. Hirsch went on to explain the fundamental difference between a pharmaceutical product and one that can be sold over the counter is labelling, and there is nothing to stop them from initially selling the products over the counter as long as they do not misrepresent its capabilities. Some have suggested that this is not a prudent approach due to possible side effects and negative reactions. This is true of any product!
I have absolutely no problem with the company generating revenue this way. The fact that they are even considering it, tells me that they have full confidence in selling their product this way, while they continue to develop it as a bona fide pharmaceutical product.
