Why-I-feel Secure-Auth will-settle quickly-after appeal-reversal
Secure auths only hope was the 101 Alice on claim #53 out of 54 total claims (see all claims in link Zpaul posted this a while ago)
Once Ropes and Grey wins the reversal, the Appeals court is throwing out these weak un researched Alice 101's dismissels every day.it seems.
once the appeal i swon , it is remanded to the lower court, what alternatives does Secure Authoritys lawyers have, take a look at the patent in the link, its the strongest Patent you can have. It was just validated by the USPTO twice.
SA's lawyers had one shot and took it loaded with gun powder but no bullets. The result was just a loud and noisey smoke. Then it cleared. And there was Ropes and Greys team of lawyers standing there with loaded brief cases and smiles.
But now Ropes and Grey come to the court with the appeal won that directs the judge to not allow 101 Alice anymore. They have to go on the facts of the Patent. Game over. Now they dont have any powder! There is no rebuttle, only option is to Settle and settle quickly to avoid any more legal fees.
