In the last corporate presentation, Canada was singled out as where they were working on a partnership. It would be nice if it was consummated in time for the presentation on Wednesday. I would hope we have a new corporate presentation by then.
The entire population of Canada is less than California, and while California is very open to cannabis development, it doesn't have anywhere near the support of Canada because of the U.S. Govt. unwillingness to confront the benefits that can be derived from cannabis.
If banking issues could be resolved, permitting U.S. banks to clearly work with companies doing business deemed legal in their State's without threats from the Dept. of Justice, I believe that development in the State's where cannabis is legal would grow dramatically.
Congress could resolve everything all at once by making it legal, but that's probably years from now, for now if they could simply state that the Fed's won't interfere in State's where it's legal, and permit normal banking activity there, we'd have about all we can get for now.
