The company has clearly indicated they'll be marketing product before drug approvals, which will take several year's, at least for here in the U.S.
I believe it's still a good plan for this reason. All sorts of products have moved from only being available by prescription to being available OTC. If you're on any of these products I strongly recommend asking your Dr. for a prescription if you have any kind of drug coverage in your health insurance. You'll be amazed how much cheaper it will be.
I believe the same will largely be the case with our products. If the creme sell for $50 OTC, it might be $5 or $10 with insurance coverage, yet the company might receive more than they do when the cream is sold for $50 OTC. In short, buy gaining drug approval the cream will end up being used by many more, and the users will be paying less as insurance picks up the difference.
