So, it’s okay to buy a stock in order to make money, but only if you do it for a long enough period of time? How long does it need to be?
What makes a long term trade more righteous or moral or whatever you’re trying to imply than a long term trader? Neither work for the company, help it find customers, help it sell product, help it grow, frankly, help it in any way (in general...). At least short term traders provide the liquidity that a stock needs to perform in the marketplace. A long term buys once and doesn’t do anything until the company has made that person enough money for him to be ready to sell. That’s admirable.
And when is a company no longer in this “re-birthing” phase so it’s then okay to short term trade?
