Or, they have holdings in their IRAs or Roth IRAs so taxes are a non-issue.
And, they have a core amount of shares that they won’t sell until they hit their price targets.
But, they do have shares that they will trade as well.
For instance, I have 3mil shares that aren’t going anywhere. But, I also have shares that I trade in my Roth. Yesterday, I sold 300k of them at .0098. I bought those same shares back today at .0079. That $500+ difference is now sitting in my Roth to use to add additional shares if we drop. Or to slap the ask and help keep up the momo when we start our next run.
We’re not all just flipping for beer money.
