A 3 phase separator (separates oil, water, and gas

A 3 phase separator (separates oil, water, and gas) large enough to handle 1.5mmcf/d, 20bbls oil/d and lets say 50bbls water/d would not cost much. I was told by Andrew that we do have a glycol unit for the gas to be sold to the XTO pipeline. We could run the separator with about 10mcf a day for the controls and the makeup gas. I would say that they could get a separator, if they don't already have one, for around $20,000 or less. Flowing the well is the only way to get the 300,000 gallons of water out of the well. This is why the pressure was slowly rising when they brought it on. The well was loaded up from the weight of the column of water that was in the tubing. The rate of produced water from the reservoir will only slow when you choke the well, but so will the oil and gas. I would have to look at the reservoir to know if they could squeeze the water off. Sometimes this works and sometime it does not. I hope this helps
