$INSY INSY share price appears to be holding in the low $8 range. This is good but not great. A simple fact: Press Releases are hurting share price. The bad publicity will continue to plague INSYS Therapeutics until resolutions are reached.
The current Media focus is on opioid medications and their abuse. Yes, the level of prescriptions IS bad. However, the Media has used the actions of some individuals who purchase millions of opioid medications and sell them legally of illegally as a hammer to condemn the legitimate distribution of the LEGAL medications.
INSYS has a very tiny percentage of opioid sales throughout the US. The guilt by association hurts INSY share price and will continue until all pending and future court cases are settled. Sad but true.
