The founder of IHUB, Matt Brown, did four years if I recall correctly. There were 11 people in the indictment. What most people don't know is Nathan Michaud from Investors Underground was in on the scam too.
In my first career, I spent ten years as a financial crimes investigator in the private sector but did cases with various law enforcement and federal agencies. My last job I worked for the government so I saw how that works first hand.
What it will really take is someone to get interested in the case and run with it. Most likely it will be a new investigator going for some low hanging fruit to get some cred for slam dunking a case or someone from the original case who gets pissed that IHUB never stopped their crimes after their founder got busted.
