But let me prevail upon you with some, dare I say, logic?

Considering the already accurate targeting capabilities provided by GPS and lasers, why would DEW's need 'smart meters' for targeting purposes?

Once they're deployed, will we only be able to attack targets that have smart meters?

And again, what possible motivation was there for visiting death and destruction on our own citizens and their property, I mean with all of that expanse of empty dessert the DOD has access to?
