Their hand will be forced by the legal activity. If they need to finalize a deal, the legal aspect needs to be addressed and it will be for more than a few peanuts.
It will be interesting to see how the unloading of the business unfolds and who ends up being part of that overall deal. Like it or not, DECN factors into that at some level...
