I think that most of us here agree that IHub is a cesspool of bashers who are allowed to thrive there and whose strategy is lies, manipulation and deceit. Normal people struggle to post there, and 90% of their valid posts are deleted.
Not only that, but IHub is responsible for holding many legitimate OTC companies down for years, with their teams of bashers and shorts constantly working against them. We have all seen the frequent manipulation of SFOR stock, -a cycle we are finally about to break out of.
I feel this board is a big success, because most of the decent people who used to post on IHub have now moved over here in the search for information, ideas and opinions, and left Liehub behind.
But how successful is “the hangout” in general? Is it gaining steam among a large group of legitimate investors? When I look at other boards here, usually I see only a few posts. But overall I’m not that familiar with the other boards here. Have a lot of people moved over to other boards here from IHub, or just a few?
Besides IHub, what honest, decent stock boards compete with Investor’s Hangout? Is IHub the only main competitor?
Does “the hangout” have any budget to advertise as a decent alternative to the corrupt iHub, or do people only find this site by word of mouth?
The next step?
What if we all went beyond just creating a decent board here? Let’s say we all become multi-millionaires with SFOR eventually. What if (after that happens) we, each donate a few thousand dollars to begin advertising Investor’s Hangout as a great alternative to IHub, so it can pick up steam as a competitor more quickly?
Or even better, what if Investor’s Hangout was somehow turned into a major competitor to IHub? What would that look like? Would it be a for profit public company or a non-profit company? With shares, shareholders, board meetings, etc. run by the multi-millionaire posters here?
I would love to see Investor’s Hangout overtake iHub eventually (e.g. good overtaking evil) and see us steadily take major market share away from them over time and create a “safe space” (as big or bigger than IHub) where legitimate investors would have an honest, decent place to exchange information and share ideas.
Of course, “the hangout” already provides some of these things for investors right now, but in the real world IHub is still the dominant player.
Just dreaming about a decent world.........
