I've seen many corporate presentations changed without an 8-K, I would guess that it's fine to do it, and gives you some added attention, but unless you're revealing something that's a material event that needs an 8-K, I believe it's purely optional. That's not to say OWCP wouldn't be wise to do it the next time they make a change in the presentation.
What I would really like to see from them is an announcement of when they will release the annual report, and I hope they'll follow it with a webcast. I know they have until the end of March, but they could certainly do it sooner. I don't really expect that, but having it scheduled even a week before it occurred would be a big improvement over the way the quarterlies are normally dropped as the extensions run out.
By comparison, last week IMGN announced their results will be out this Friday morning, and they'll have a webcast. I'm uncertain if they could have had until March, but this should be the Annual report, so they certainly could have had more time, but they're getting it out earlier than required. The day may come when we can operate that way.
