It all depends on what the strategic plan is. Do they introduce the new precise product which will require a partner to bring to market effectively, and shock some people along the way, or do they seize the opportunity and take advantage of a once in a product life cycle opportunity and create a fourth alternative product effectively claiming a brand. It's a tough decision. And it will be KB's decision pretty much alone. If DECN asks for example CVS for consultation, they will be told to finish the brand and then afterwards swing back and finish that precise product, and chances are pretty good, if its done well, no new lawsuit.
I agree that there are several posters who play both sides, including people KB probably knows well. And you know what they say about betrayal. It's a tough world out there.
