Bad Sign: According to today's Forbes article by Stan Collender: 1.) There is still no agreement on spending levels for military or domestic programs. 2.) The current CR expires midnight, Thursday. Another Government shutdown is in the making.3.) The emerging GOP plan is to pass another CR that expires 22 March. So, what's the impact on SFOR? This could delay any Federal Department or Agency contract with either Alverez or ACS unless a spending authorization bill is finally signed into law before expiration. Bear in mind, even if it is, that gives the contracting officers only six business days to negotiate and issue contracts with new vendors. Unless paid in those six days (doubtable) those vendors cannot credit their accounts receivables for their 1Q18 reports. Consequently, we will have no idea (due to the Federal Government Confidentiality Statement) if our Federal Government vendors got a contract until 2Q18
unless Uncle Sam grants them permission to PR contract award. Sorry to be the bearer of this bad news.
