Remember, eBay is primarily a secondary market for a lot of things. A lot of software has been selling for SFOR when you also count HSN, etc. People will get the software as gifts, may not want it, and become willing to sell it on eBay to get some cash. It isn't always, or perhaps even often, a direct competition. A lot of times it can be like a garage sale.
