There was that dewy Halloween night when he and J.B. rounded up a couple of cows and prodded them onto the Hilltop General Store porch and strung up some wire so they couldn't get back off, and then treated them with some Epsom salts. "Those cows shit on the porch all night," J.B. fondly remembered nearly a lifetime later.
