I was doing some digging tonight on distracted driving. Pickings are getting thin; most info has already been posted.
I found an article on web-site cfnrfm.ca. It’s for a Canadian radio station. Article dated August 18th, 2017. It was about Insurance Company of British Columbia (ICBC) testing a distracted driving app.
We already knew they are testing an app for three months beginning in January. However; the sentence below, taken from the article, is something I did not know. Perhaps its new information to others as well. Hopefully this will be the beginning of a trend for auto makers.
“In Britain, law makers are working to get auto makers to make this device standard in all of their models”.
(In the sentence, “this device”, is referring to a distracted driving app in general, not necessarily the same app being tested in Canada)
